2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order through our website.

Individuals under the age of 18 may only place orders with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Products

All products sold by Kind Of Clay are handmade.

Due to the nature of handmade ceramics, slight variations in shape, size, colour, texture, glaze finish, and pattern may occur. These variations are a natural part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.

Product photographs are provided for illustrative purposes. While we make every effort to display colours accurately, colours may appear differently depending on your screen or device settings.

4. Food Safety & Care

Unless otherwise stated, all ceramic products sold by Kind Of Clay are food safe.

Products are generally dishwasher and microwave safe unless specifically stated otherwise in the product description or accompanying care card.

Products containing metal components, decorative attachments, or other special features may not be microwave safe. Customers should always follow the care instructions supplied with their purchase.

Failure to follow provided care instructions may void eligibility for replacement or refund.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods from Kind Of Clay.

An order is not considered accepted until you receive an order confirmation email.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where:

• a product is unavailable;
• incorrect pricing or product information has been displayed;
• fraud or misuse is suspected;
• we are unable to fulfil the order for any reason.

If payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued.

6. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£).

Prices include VAT where applicable.

Shipping charges are calculated separately and displayed at checkout.

We reserve the right to amend prices at any time without notice.

7. Shipping

We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.

Ready-made products are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days.

Delivery time estimates are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive shipping confirmation where applicable.

Risk in the goods remains with us until the goods are delivered to the delivery address provided by you.

Ownership of the goods transfers to you once full payment has been received and the goods have been delivered.

8. Custom Orders

Custom and personalised items are created specifically for individual customers.

Current estimated production time for custom orders is approximately 4 weeks unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Production times are estimates only and may occasionally vary.

Custom and personalised products cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or refunded once production has begun, except where the item is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from the agreed specification.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all names, wording, dates, photographs, and other personalisation details supplied are accurate.

9. Damaged Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

Any item damaged during transit must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

• photographs of the damaged item;
• photographs of the packaging;
• photographs of any shipping labels.

10. Returns & Refunds

Consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights available to consumers under UK consumer protection legislation.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including photographs, product designs, artwork, logos, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Kind Of Clay unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written permission.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
